Bylaw Enforcement The Bylaw Officer is responsible for investigating formal complaints received by the Township of Wainfleet. The Bylaw Officer may meet with those involved in the complaint, including offenders and complainants. The Bylaw Officer issues warnings and notices, both verbal and written, as necessary in the circumstances. Also included in the responsibilities of the Bylaw Officer are the issuance of parking infraction notices and provincial offence notices as necessary for minor offences where bylaws have set fines approved. For bylaw offences without approved set fines and for major offences or frequently occurring minor offences, the Bylaw Officer lays an Information and obtains a Summons. The Bylaw Officer is also responsible for making necessary court appearances for municipal prosecution. To issue a complaint either fill out the forms available at the Municipal Office or send a letter outlining your concerns to the Municipal Office at Township of Wainfleet, P.O.
